Right Decisions: secret of quintessential living

Right Decisions
“Difference between a successful man and the rest others.”

“One who writes his own fate.”

These power pack lines and others like these are ardent because of one super power known as ‘Right Decisions’. Means, one who takes ‘Right Decisions’ is always successful and will always win.
As motivational mentors tell hacks to success.. this is one of those.
Decision making is a skill which has to be mastered. It should be smart, quick, and intimate to self, but above all, it should be right. It’s said that ‘first decide and then make it right’. I say there’s no such thing. Decisions taken to a grandeur reality are actually in parts. What is called ‘make it right’ is actually a series of small decisions that are part of a bigger plan. This means that one must be more perfect than ever in choosing the right one, because you not only have to make decisions but more than one right decision to be successful.
To win the Olympics, decide to work hard. Everything starts with a decision. To work hard, decide to stay determined, decide to stay away from things that take you off the course. Even before that, decide what sport to choose to become a player.
Or if you want to become a businessman then decide which business you want to do. Or if you want to be an artist, first decide to be a painter, musician or a singer. Even instincts had to be picked and dreams have to be filtered for their meanings.
Initiation of anything starts with a decision. And the output of this math is simple. You get a plus when the decision is right and a negative if it is wrong.
Time moves forward every second. So there’s no space for zeros. Either be successful or left behind.
Another thing is that everyone denies their stupidity. And neither people are humble about their doings.
So joining the above two equations of time and stupidity, answers the lack of smartness and success in one’s life.
Of course, other than lack of knowledge.
This ‘decision’ verse is grafted on our skin. In our daily lives, we take more or less equal amounts of decisions as the count we breathe consciously. We hear people saying that I can’t shut my thoughts and that they always keep on churning. These are actually the decisions they keep choosing.
Our brain constantly keeps on choosing from options. ‘eeny meeny miny moe…’ we don’t know but we keep on doing this all the time, so fast that we don’t sense it and don’t admit it as well.
But the truth is, it is like shopping as this same process runs behind the curtain of our eyes every time. People don’t see the uselessness but always complain about how monotonous their life is. When you are bored, you always search for new things. And thus start looking for options. It can be as simple as ‘Should I drink water now or later?’

What would my ex be doing? boss, girlfriend or any other irritation. We confuse ourselves between the choices of doing it or not.

Take a bath or not? Eat out or do Swiggy?
Call a friend or hang out with someone?
Science or Sanskrit?
CS or Mechanical? MBA or not? in Human Resources or Finance.
Even between green or red or yellow.
The above vocals are from Youngsters Wonderland. Each age group has its own characteristics.
After experiencing all the seasons, old age often worries most about what he has left behind and whether he considers himself complete or left in the river of incompletion.
So many choices in life.. like millions and millions of cells in our body.
Means so much to get confused in.
Reading these seems stupid but really.. ask yourself, aren’t we doing that all the time.
Our subconscious mind gains this habit and we are totally unaware about it. Notice your denial to these answers. Felt that slight kick of stupidity?
So our reasoning system is bugged from inside and above we seal it with tar of our ego. Picture this canonized with big and important decisions of our life.
This somewhat closes the chapter of success from our life.
Some suggest meditation, to have control on our thoughts.
Because you can get over the state of ‘always making decisions’ by concentrating on one. Focusing removes options from front of you.
But this is not the hack to ‘right decision’. What actually is a hack?
Mastering to such an extent that perfect execution breaks time records every time.
Means this has to be done on and on, consistently, till the execution time gets reduced to like one fourth. Then it’s a hack and or a trick.
Recipe to the right decision.
The first is knowledge of what you are doing.
Being an entrepreneur, you basically sit in positions. Usually as the ‘boss’, but there are others for you such as product developer, product seller, fundraiser, innovator and strategist, motivator etc. In all these places, you basically have to sit down and be in charge of one common thing, ‘decision making’.
So the more knowledge you have of work that you are doing, the better your decision will be.

This is easy. But then why does it seem so challenging and why do people often choose the wrong side.
It’s because people blind their instinct so the idea of ’I’m right’ takes over.

“Stay hungry, Stay foolish..” famous by Steve Jobs as he was famous for his rudeness. But still the man’s ideology was to bow in front of decisions. Only after being sure of what he is into and confident of what he was doing, he took those firm steps that shaped the future.
Get the knowledge as much as you can and from different ways i.e. by self and from others. Have a trusted method of validating the knowledge as much as possible, as many times as possible. Validating knowledge is like filtering uptill the time you get the purest of it.

And the cleaner your knowledge will be, the sound will be your decisions. Otherwise for stupids, deciding on spoons of coffee and sugar in brewing a cup of joe, is tougher than sending rockets to mars.

And work hard, very hard, for everything.
