Imagine: Vision of a different world

Imagine living in a world where a kid when gets to the age of an year or two starts being noticed by some counsellor along with a baby sitter. That counsellor notes down all the interests, likes, dislikes and everything. That counseling session goes on for a couple of years. Till the basic education is being provided to that little kid like just some mathematics, science, moral science, and extra curriculars. The time to learn these things could be flexible yet we need a maximum time limit for this. Because some of the kids grab anything faster than the others. They have an advantage so they should probably be able to leverage it somehow.

Once the kid learns all of that, in any particular period of time. His counselor should come up and tell what are the future careers in which that kid would excel. For example, a kid who likes English but not Math or Science can be a philosopher, writer, or a poet. The one who like math over all other subjects could driven to be a mathematician, a scientist or researcher.

In a world, where we take a more practical approach. Rather than having the same 3 + 10 + 2 years of schooling for every child. Then 3-4 years of graduation followed by 2 years of Masters and then maybe a couple of more of PhD.

Someone who is determined to be a political leader should go ahead and prepare for General Knowledge, and other relevant subjects. Since the very beginning of his teenage maybe.

A kid who loves to be around a whiteboard all the time trying to teach everyone else around; could be trained to be a teacher in his early age.

It’s a world where no kid has to wait till the age of 21 or more to begin his career when it can begin in the teenage only. The kids today they are already smarter than our generation (90s kids). And we cannot really deny that fact.

Right now we are forcing everyone to wear the uniform go to school and learn what you don’t even want to. I love to do maths but I don’t remember when did I last used trigonometry or calculus or maybe the speed of light. In our world we learnt it’s concept just because we had to. I’m particularly sure about this that even many of the teachers themselves don’t know the practical use of these things.

As Albert Einstein once beautifully said:
“Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

In our world, here is what we have right now. We tell everyone to go be a fish and climb on trees of different sizes.
