Obsession and Liking Self| A blurred line

They say you should like yourself. Let me tell you this my friend, there is quite a lot difference between liking yourself and being self obsessed. I recently created an account on Instagram. Meanwhile, here’s what I observed and I feel you all can relate to it very well.

We have a numerous people on social platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube shorts who tell us the difference between self obsession and to like your own self.

Well no offense to the ones doing that but for example, there are many people who just come in front of camera and do nothing.. literally nothing. Maybe they just move their eyes and the face a little bit. They make video and post it out. Those who do it regularly is something that I would call self obsession.

On the contrary, loving yourself means that you are happy with what you are and don’t need to satisfy yourself by doing all such bullshit that self obsessed people do all the time. Trying to impress everyone around you. You don’t bother about impressing everyone when you love yourself.

Not up to mark

Someone fails but do not accepts that he failed coz of his own mistakes just to satisfy his own obsession. He takes 100 selfie, videos, goes through all of them finds out 1 that he thinks is good. Get a good number of likes from the people just like him and be satisfied with that. His psychology starts thinking that he is not doing anything wrong coz everyone is liking it. Trying to hide his weakness and efforts. It is his brain’s insolvency.

I don’t remember any single literate or successful person doing that.
